We are The Distryct. We are a rock and blues band based out of Southern West Virginia. We formed this band in mid 2005 and we are still going strong into 2010! We all have a sound history in music ranging from blues, metal, and classical, and everything in between. We are high energy, high quality entertainment.
We have all been members of other bands and something was never right, but when we walked onto the stage together for the first time it was simply MAGIC, and it has been magic ever since! We actually look at ourselves more as a family than a "band". We all love to entertain, and there is no place where we are more comfortable than on a stage with a thousand eyes on us! "We believe that music is not something you play or do, but rather is a way of life and it is the life we all choose to live".
